The origin of turkish delight began back in 1776, by a confectioner named Haci Bekir. It was he who modified a traditional sweet of the age by adding starch and sugar to make Lokum, or Turkish Delight as it is now often known. He showed his creation to the Ottoman Palace based in Istanbul, older folk will remember as Constantinople.

As with all the Turkish delight from Trude it is vegan, gluten Kosher and GMO free with natural flavours.
