Made with Parellada grapes, a traditional Catalan variety, and Ugni Blanc grapes, which are more commonly found in Cognac and Italian wines, the Torres 20 is a well crafted expression. The brandy spends its maturation in Limousin oak casks. Torres was one of the first Spanish distillers to use the French Ugni Blanc variety, which brings lovely floral notes to the raw spirit. The bottle is inspired by a decanter which dates back to the Torres family's second generation and still survives today. As you'd expect after 20 years in oak it's a dark amber colour with masses of spice and dried fruit, and a succulent, mellow texture, resulting in a elegant, rich and decadently flavoursome Spanish brandy.
