TALISKER WHISKY PORT RUIGHE 70CL 40%

This is a no age statement Islay whisky thats been finished in ruby port barrels. Released at a similar time to Talisker Storm, this expression takes the classic Isle of Skye malt and introduces elements of chocolate and fruit. Named after a nearby trading port, the Port Rhuighe is more approachable than the aforementioned Storm and is best enjoyed neat. 

Early in 2013, we saw the release of this exciting Talisker Port Ruighe, matured in European and American oak casks and some very charred casks. This no age statement dram has some very coastal notes on the nose as well as hints of wax, oranges and some white chocolate. The palate is fairly sweet with chilli, chocolate, oranges and some smoke towards the end.
