MESSIAS WHITE SWEET PORT 75CL 19.5%

While the colour of port usually ranges from anywhere between red and dark red, white port flips the script by using white grapes. The result is a beverage that is still full of grape richness, but also includes some citrus-like notes that add a different dimension to the drink. It can come in two varieties, dry and sweet.

This Messias White Port is the latter, and it is indeed wonderfully sweet.

Fine and well balanced it is a superb after dinner drink, aperitif or, like they do in Portugal, mix in equal parts to tonic and garnish with a slice of lemon - a refreshing change to G&T.
