GLENKINCHIE DISTILLERS EDITION 70CL 43% LOWLAND

Distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2022, this excellent expression of Glenkinchie has been matured in Amontillado Casks. The result is a fragrant and nutty whisky with earthy undertones and delicate rye spice. The Distillers Edition is a limited release from Glenkinchie. This series sees the master distiller hand-select a small number of casks, before double maturing in Amontillado seasoned American oak. It?s malty and nutty, with a creamy mouthfeel. There aren?t many Lowland whiskies around and this full-bodied take is an excellent way to experience this region. A medium warm finish.
