This wine is a blend of varietals grown in the South of France and around Lyon. 8 to 10 days maceration under temperature control in order to maintain bright and fresh fruit aromas, then ageing for 6 months in stainless steel tanks.

Intense black fruits aromas, a touch of raspberry and delicate spicy notes. The palate is dry with soft tannis, vibrant black cherry and bramble fruits. Mainly made with Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache to add more body to the wine. Davys No1 Red is easy drinking, juicy and round, with aromas of red berry fruits.

Davys Red is ideal with Stews and Grilled Red Meats, with pasta dishes, and great alongside our Cheddars.
