Ricasoli Brolio Riserva Chianti Classico is a bright, juicy and concentrated 100% Sangiovese with grapes sourced from vines thriving in sandstone, Galestro, Alberese and silty soils. The wine was fermented in controlled temperature stainless-steel tanks with up to 16 days of skin contact. Look for bright cherry, spiced plum, iron and mineral flavours vibrant on the palate. Tannins are rich and grippy. Good now, better with a little marry and mellow time.

This Riserva, produced from a selection of estate-grown grapes, reflects all the soil characteristics of Brolio. Sandstone, marl, marine deposits, and the calcarenites, or limestone, locally called "alberese", all converge in the distinctive harmony of this magnificent wine.

Grapes; 80% Sangiovese, 15% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon.
