Made by family run winery Casa Vinicola Botter, founded in 1928 by Carlo Botter, and now in its third generation in Emilia-Romagna. Their focus is very much on innovation through environmentally friendly policies.

Hand-harvested and destemmed grapes undergo 7/8 days of maceration for color and structure extraction. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation occur in steel tanks at 25/27?C. Ageing in Slavonian and American oak barrels for at least 24 months before bottling. Red berry aromas with notes of vanilla, liquorice and anise. Red and black cherry palate with some dried fruits.

A delicious wine from the Emilia-Romagna region. Ruby red with lashings of ripe cherries, mulberries, dried fruit and spice. Juicy and generous on the palate, this is a real crowd pleaser and one of our most popular reds.
