ROOSTER ROJO ANEJO TEQUILA 70CL 38%

This anejo (aged) tequila was made with blue agave, using the fabrica de tequilas method of cooking the pina with steam in autoclaves for 10 hours. A special yeast is added to the agave juices prior to fermentation, before rooster rojo anejo is double pot distilled in stainless steel pot stills and aged in oak. Water filtered through mexican silver is finally added to blend the product down to 38% abv. 

Rooster rojo anejo is aged for a minimum of one year in used bourbon barrels and has a pronounced richness and exceptional smoothness. Oaky, chocolate, tobacco and coffee aromas. To taste there's caramel, oak, vanilla and roasted agave. 

A rich Anejo Tequila from Rooster Rojo that is matured in ex-bourbon barrels for at least a year before being bottled. With aromas of chocolate, tobacco, oak and coffee fill the nose, complemented by notes of caramel, vanilla, roasted agave and oak spice throughout the palate. Its smooth, rich finish with hints of vanilla and oak and a long length.

Made from 100% blue agave.
