Its also completely unblended: unlike most extra virgin olive oils, this really is small-batch production, and isnt mixed with inferior oils or oil from previous harvests.

Consequently it tastes as good as youd expect. As it's unfiltered, the oil contains the sediment from olive skins and pips, giving it a great green opaqueness with a thick texture, and the raw, grassy result is pretty much the same thing the ancient Greeks would have consumed!

While the olives themselves are very small, they contain very high levels of poly-phenols, the natural antioxidants found in plants that may reduce the risk of heart disease and cancer. Poly-phenols and other antioxidants found in olives can protect the human body against free radical damage.
