FURLEIGH ESTATE CHARDONNAY 75CL 12%

Wonderfully refreshing dry white with plenty of zest and backbone. It has a pale lemon hue with elegant legs. Delightful floral aromas of passionflower and lily marry honeydew melon and citrus lemon plus a touch of mandarin on the nose. The palate is dry with excellent acidity and a crisp mouthfeel which revives with every drop.

Flavours of Sicilian lemon and yellow grapefruit mingle with braeburn and coxes apple and a hint of orange peel. It has a delicate saline character and great depth of flavour plus a lovely long finish. Food Pairing Serve chilled with a seafood platter or shellfish. Also good with soused mackerel or roll-mops and especially with escabeche. Excellent with sushi but go easy on the wasabi.

Try it with lemon sole and beurre blanc sauce garnished with samphire.
