From Ashley Chase, made on the farm with local milk, Dorset Red is a delicately oak smoked hard cheese with a rich creamy texture and distinctive amber colour. Traditionally made and matured, its lighter than cheddar with a velvety texture.
Similar in appearance to our Rutland Red Leicester and cold-smoked over oak chips overnight, it has a distinctive, smoky flavour.
Made lovingly at the Ashley Chase Estate, Litton Cheney, Dorset.
