BLANDYS 10 YEAR MALMSEY MADEIRA 50CL 19%

The non-vintage 10-Year-Old Malmsey has an introspective, marmalade, fig and burnt sugar-scented bouquet that gently unfurls in the glass. The palate is very well-balanced, with a viscous entry that lacquers the mouth. The acidity is very well-judged, lending the finish a sense of poise and tension that neatly counterbalances the richness and precocity. For those of you who follow wine critics Robert Parker awarded this 90 points- quite an accolade!

 An opulent and delectable fortified wine from the island of Madeira and the Blandy's family, who have made the wine for more than 200 years. Aged for 10 years in oak, this is a fabulous dessert wine. Serve with toffee pudding.
