MANCHEGO MATURE CHEESE
Aged 12 months, this Manchego Mature Reserva is delicious; its firm and compact with a buttery texture, and has a sweet fruity flavour with hints of nuttiness.
Manchego cheese can only be made from manchega sheep’s (breed) milk which are raised on registered farms within the designated area. Traditionally, Manchego cheese was made by pressing the curd in plaited esparto grass baskets, which left a distinctive zig-zag pattern (pleita) on the rind.
Ingredients: pasteurized manchega sheeps milk, salt, rennet, cheese cultures, calcium chloride and lysozyme (from egg). On rind: E-235 (preservative) y E-150d (colouring). E202 Potassium Sorbate
