Made using a careful slow maceration of three varieties of cherries harvested in Burgundy and Italy. Premium French brandy is used, which is then infused with cloves, black vanilla, almond and zest of orange. Boudier Cassis has a complex nose, subtle, fresh fruit, rich in the mouth, a bitter note, a pleasant liveliness and an intense fruity finish, making it ideal as an Apertif; widely known as Cassis Royale. Pour Gabriel Boudier Crème de Cassis into a champagne flute, adding your favourite sparkler to taste. Cassis is also wonderful sprinkled over summer berries.
Its an essential in any Bar, and is versatile, used in classic cocktails to desserts and even savory dishes, adding a fruity, slightly tart flavor and a deep red color.
