The Cheese and Wine Shop Delivery Terms

Some key points regarding Christmas delivery's. At checkout you can choose your preferred delivery day, upto 3 months in advance.
How soon should I order?
As soon as possible is the answer! You can order today, and choose a date that isconvenient in December. We recommend ordering a delivery date 2-3 days before you need the items/s. On the web site, each item will have a best before or use by date to guide you.

If you're ordering Cheese, see here for important information.

You can choose a timed service if required; we recommend choosing the AM service if ordering perishables.

99.9% of parcels are delivered on the preferred day, but on occasion, and despite our, and our couriers best efforts, delivery's can be delayed.

What happens if my delivery is delayed?

Delivery is a guide; no compensation for late delivery

My Parcel is late; delivery should be free?!
As your parcel still needs to get from us to the delivery address, and unfortunately the costs in doing this remain the same, regardless of the day the parcels dispatched, and delivered. So regretfully, there is no compensation, other than an upgrade to the next available slot if your parcel is late.

Special delivery requests?
Please ensure there is someone to accept the parcel, or advise us that you are happy for the parcel to be left, and the driver to leave a card.

We will pass on any specific requests to UKmail, but we can`t guarantee that the driver will have time to call a phone number on arrival, and or wait for someone to come. Often they will, but this is not guaranteed.

If you have a specific time requirement ie; please delivery between 9.00 and 11.00am, YOU must choose a timed delivery that covers your requirement. IE AM Delivery. Otherwise the courier can deliver between 8.30am and 5.30pm, (or later during Christmas) if you choose a standard delivery.
