2. i started using the Cheese and Wine Shop a couple of years ago when my local shops ceased to stock the one cheese I was particularly fond of. They had it and have been delivering it to me ever since. The customer service is fantastic; they phone or email to tell me when the order is ready or even if it's delayed. The cheese arrives in perfect condition, freezes well and lasts me until I need another order from them. I've stopped checking the local stores now to see if they have it back in stock - no need!

The wonderful Stilton you picked out for us was just perfect and the talk of our family and friends who shared it. The chutneys were also greatly appreciated. Us old uns really enjoyed the drinking chocolate before bed. I was on back up duty at the local as and E dept of our hospital so it was a teetotal Christmas.But We all eat well.

17. This company is amazing! I placed an order for a Christmas gift and, for whatever reason, the order didn't complete...which I didn't realise. Due to the holiday time constraints I was advised that unfortunately it was too late to re-order in time for Christmas. I was disappointed as I had ordered a particular wine which I could not purchase anywhere else. I had not received a confirmation email so I accepted responsibility. However, I received a return phone call from Paul telling me that he though he would be able to get the delivery to me... which he did! THANK YOU!! You far exceeded my expectations. 67. Saved by the Cheese and Wine Shop! After being let down and having precious Xmas postage time wasted by 2 other companies I rang Cheese and Wine Shop rather too late. Business concluded in 5 minutes, choices refined and advised upon (all to the better), cheeses posted rapidly. Such a contrast: I was a happy bear. But then the delivery companies started to mess things up and I realised the true value of excellent and proactive customer service - they really did complete the extra mile both in not getting hacked off with me (I was pretty upset!) and by getting to the bottom of the mess. I was left feeling I was their only priority......in the days leading up to Xmas! Cheeses arrived Xmas eve. So, trust a company who seems to never have any problems or trust Cheese and Wine, who will not let you down when things go wrong.

Ok so being Swiss cheese is serious business and unfortunately acquiring good quality fresh cheese outside of Switzerland and nearby countries is almost impossible well that is until I found these guys and boy am I glad I did. 82. I have used the Cheese and Wine shop now for Christmas for the past two years. I live in London and use it specifically for the Rambol cheese as I can't purchase anywhere in London now. If you have not tried it you must it's delicious! At first I was apprehensive as the delicatessen is so far away, however, I could not be happier with the service from begining to end, the staff are so helpful, great packaging, reliable delivery. I would recommend it to anyone and will definitely be ordering again next year for Christmas treats. My parents loved the Saint Agur and we are delighted to have found somewhere that sells the Rambol walnut cheese as we have had it for Christmas as a tradition for years. So i used the internet to track down a picture and once armed with that, found the plate here!!It's the most lovely cheese plate and I shall be using it on Christmas day. A parcel arrived from your shop yesterday in excellent condition, considering how hot the weather was it was a delight to open chilly goods! After a night in the freezer the ice bags also proved very useful when I bought ice cream today.
