Grape varieties Cadet claret is a blend of classic Grape varieties: merlot (20%) Cabernet sauvignon (80%). The merlot provides supple fruit, and The cabernet sauvignon character, Ageing potential and a pleasant structure.
Vinification In the bordeaux tradition, The grapes are destemmed and crushed. Alcoholic fermentation Lasts for approximately 6 days at a temperature between 25°c and 30°c, followed by maceration for 15 days. Malolactic fermentation then takes place in vats.
Maturation The wines are matured in vats before Bottling at the Saint-Lurent-Médoc Winery.
Tasting notes The colour is beautifully brilliant and clear, the nose clean, with very ripe red berry fruit aromas. From a supple attack, elegant yet well-rounded, the body builds on attractively structured fruit to a long and lingering finish. |
