WHITE LAKE CHEESESWhite Lake Cheese was started in 2004 by Peter Humphries and Roger Longman. Based in the heart of Cheddar Country here in Somerset, White Lake Cheese produce a range of artisan Goats, Sheeps and Cows milk cheeses of distinction. The Goats milk comes from Rogers own herd, the Cows milk comes from a local Guernsey heard and the sheep milk is also from just down the road.
After 11 years White Lake Cheese makes around 25 different cheeses. Still mainly making goats cheese they process around 12,000 Liters of milk, which produces around a tonne and a half of cheese a week, and winning many awards along the way. |
