Littlepod natural Madagascan Bourbon vanilla pods are plump, moist and full of fruity, floral notes. Harvested from an exotic orchid, they grow only in a limited number of tropical habitats. Vanilla is a versatile flavour; its essential in Custard, Panacotta, Creme Brulees, but works well in many savoury dishes as well, Roast Monkfish being an example.
Vanilla Pod, or Bean is a wonderful partner to Pears, Pineapple and a host of other Fruits. Its an essential in any chefs cupboard.

Vanilla beans are the seed pods of an orchid. The sweet and aromatic flavour is ideal for use in bakery, desserts, and confectionery. Split vanilla pods can be added to custard during preparation to infuse flavour. Pods can be split and the seeds removed for use as an ingredient. De-seeded pods can be added to a jar of sugar, where they impart a delicious flavour.
