Enjoy with friends, family or workmates. Its unlikely youll have any left over, but if you do, it is delicious toasted for breakfast or as a mid day snack, and is the Chefs favorite for an incomparable Bread and Butter Pudding. 

Made in Tuscany by the Flamini bakery, using fresh free range eggs, and a neighbouring beekeeper’s wildflower honey and locally milled flour. This Colomba cake is made without the emulsifiers and glucose syrup typical to industrial cakes, but remains enjoyably moist and flavoursome!

His candied fruit peel supplier is one of the few which guarantees fruit peel which hasn’t been treated with sulphur dioxide and this particular recipe also includes almond paste, which adds a nice element to the flavour.
