A genuinely interesting Malbec, with great purity, depth and length of flavour. Malbec is Argentina's signature grape variety but much of it is simple, in front of the TV kind of wine. This however, you can take round to dinner party and be proud to put on the table.
Silver medal, International Wine Challenge 2011 Doña Paula Estate Malbec is the estate's flagship wine, aged in new French oak barrels to add complexity to its delicious plum, black cherry, licorice and dried herb flavours. Grapes for this wine are sourced from two of the estate's best vineyards, at at Finca el Alto, in Ugarteche, and at Finca Alluvia, in Gualtallary, Uco Valley.
