This Glenfarclas, from 1970, is from Sherry Butt Cask #566, which yielded 497 bottles. The Glenfarclas 1970 has a spicy sherry nose support by fresh apples. The pallet is spicy and full like rich fruit cake. Slightly woody but not harsh the spicy fruitiness lingers in the long finish.

The Glenlivet Tasting Kit

Contains a 5cl bottle of The Glenlivet Single Malt, a ceramic water jug and a specially designed tasting glass that concentrates all the aromas into the narrow neck of the glass helping you to 'nose' the whisky.
