Affine Chablis 200g

Rich aromatic cheese, slightly smaller than its popular sibling Epoisses, and its  washed in Chablis instead of Marc. This distinction gives a slightly sweet, gentler punch to the finish of Affine than the Epoisses.

As it matures, the yellow-orange colour will become stronger growing from the heart of the cheese. Near to maturity, the pigmentation will be more constant, and the flavors of Burgundy will surface. The cheese is soft and can be spooned, and has a concentrated richness and a creamy texture.

This small Burgundian cheese is a top candidate for the top ten most pungent French cheeses. Its a classic cow's milk cheese that is washed in Marc de Bourgogne, a local Burgundy alcohol, similar to Grappa. Brie De Meaux Donge

This is a raw, soft unpasteurised cow's milk cheese, and is widely regarded as "The king of Cheeses". Although true for all cheeses, it is particularly important to allow Brie to reach room temperature before consumption to enjoy the full range of flavours. The whole cheese weighs about 3 kilograms, is 35 to 40 cm in diameter and about 3 cm thick. The cheese has a fat content of around 45%.

Morbier

Morbier is an aromatic and surprisingly mild French cow's milk cheese defined by the dark vein of vegetable ash streaking through it middle.

Contrary to its smell, Morbier has a mild taste and leaves a wonderful, nutty aftertaste. Morbier is excellent enjoyed with a soft, fruity red wine like a Pinot Noir, or is ideal with a glass of our Spy Valley Gewurztraminer, and some of our fresh crusty bread or Cheese Biscuits.

Named after a village in Normandy, Livarot is one of Frances oldest Cheeses. During production, Livarot is circled by five straps of rush leaves or paper that prevent the cheese from collapsing during maturing. The straps of Livarot are reminiscent of a uniform's stripes, giving the cheese its nickname "The Colonel".

Saint Hilaire Pont L`Eveque 380g

Pont L`eveque is a soft cheese, made from cow's milk collected from producers of the Bocage Ornais area. The colour of its fairly smooth rind varies between golden yellow and orange.
