Sending goods to Europe? Please read this before ordering.

We use UKmail or Royal Mail for deliverys to Europe. For a guide to service times please see below. Couriers will often use a 3rd party to deliver in the destination country.

What products can I send ? We can send pretty much what you want. Please check that the product is not resticted in the destination country. We can send most of our products, but please DO check that the product is allowed in the destination country, and for perishables, consider their suitability to travel. 

Perishables and Cheeses ... generally, all Hard Cheeses are suitable for all destinations. We recommend sending, larger sizes (either whole or half cheeses) or individual waxed truckles. Whole and Baby Stiltons will travel happily for upto 3 days, but we do not recommend longer, and can`t gurantee its delivery condition. That said, we have customers who insist on them being sent to destinations that take 6 -7days to reach, and they are happy to receive one of our prized Stiltons on those terms.

European delivery Prices are per parcel, upto 25kg to one address, and assume we can pack your order into a standard box. (90 Wide x 90 High x 60cm)

PLEASE consider the transit time .... we recommend you choose products that will travel well; please bear in mind the number of transit days to your destination. Some perishable products won`t travel at all, so they won`t be available in your cart at checkout. (Think some soft Cheeses, Fresh Clotted Cream etc)

Others are discretionary, and should travel well, certainly during the Autumn and Winter months when the ambiant temperature is cold anyway!

The cart will calculate your parcel weight, specific to your chosen products and destination. We use UKMail or Royal Mail, depending on the parcels weight and destination.

Delivery Times; The delivery time is a best estimate, and will ultimately depend on the destination. If its outside a main center, it may well take a day or so longer. Please ensure there are local contact numbers, mobile, phone and email to make it as easy as possible for the delivering driver to locate the address.

How are items packed? Perishables are packed into boxes with Ice Packs to help keep them cool on their journey. Please bear in mind that they will likely have defrosted if the journey time is more than 48hours, BUT they will still be cool. Click here to read in more detail.
